Facilitating Education over Religion
At Christian Ultra Libertarians for Truth (CULT), we believe that education is the path forward, not institutionalized religion. Rather than relying on hierarchical structures or rigid doctrines, we embrace self-directed learning, open exploration, and personal responsibility in faith.
The teachers at CULT are not authorities dictating belief but individuals who have dedicated their lives to understanding faith and a personal relationship with God subjectively. They have wrestled with scripture, history, and theological ideas—arriving at perspectives that they now share as suggestions, not mandates. Our courses are designed to empower you to think critically, challenge assumptions, and pursue truth freely, all while remaining grounded in love and liberty.

SHawn McCraney
CULT Founder, Teacher and Artist
Shawn McCraney is the founder and primary teacher at Christian Ultra Libertarians for Truth (CULT). His journey toward The Great News and the launch of CULT began through long decades of dedicated scriptural study, public discussions, heavy criticism and theological challenges. Shawn has spent decades questioning mainstream Christian doctrines, ultimately embracing a fulfilled, faith-and-love-based understanding of scripture. His teachings reject fear-based religious control and instead encourage personal liberty, spiritual education, and radical love in truth.
Through CULT, Shawn provides comprehensive courses on fulfilled theology, Christian history, biblical study, and deconstructing traditional religious paradigms. His unique approach empowers students to engage with faith intellectually, independently, and freely.

Grady Risley
Grady Risley is a trusted teacher at The Great News Network and serves as CULT’s Bible expert. His deep knowledge of scripture and historical context allows him to provide rich, contextual teachings that help students see the Bible through a fulfilled theological lens.
Grady contributes content that challenges traditional perspectives while remaining rooted in scriptural integrity. His approach, like all CULT teachings, is an invitation to think critically and explore new ways of understanding faith.

We believe that while learning happens independently, education is aided by the shared pursuit of truth. We are always looking for others to contribute their insights. If you have spent time exploring faith, theology, or scripture independently and want to share your perspectives, CULT provides a platform to do so.
We encourage all potential teachers to go through our Leadership Program, ensuring a foundational understanding of our mission and approach. However, we remain open to discussions with those who have unique perspectives to offer.
